The International Tennis Federation announced the draw for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by the Gainbridge Finals and Play-offs at a draw ceremony on Wednesday in London.
The 2022 champions Switzerland will compete in Group A alongside perennial tournament powerhouses the Czech Republic and the USA at the 2023 finals in Seville, Spain. Last year’s runners-up Australia will face Kazakhstan and Slovenia in Group B.

Group C will feature five-time Billie Jean King Cup champions Spain, Canada and Poland, while Group D will feature 2019 winners France, Italy and Germany.

The group stage action takes place from November 7-10.
The four group winners will advance to the semi-finals on Saturday November 11 before the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup final on Sunday November 12.
The draw for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup playoffs was also held on Wednesday. On November 10-11 or 11-12, eight home and away matches are scheduled.
Home countries will have a choice of dates on which they will play.
