Injuring his ankle against Lille and then undergoing rapid surgery, the 31-year-old attacking midfielder ended the season earlier than expected by both himself and the club. Author of strong performances in the first part of the season (29 games, 18 goals, 17 assists), Neymar was nevertheless sent to Chelsea, in vain, last January and seems doomed to a forced departure this summer while PSG look to get get rid of the Brazilian and his large salary at all costs.
Surprised by the behavior of the fans, Neymar would be a bit more open to leaving than in recent weeks.
Galtier apologizes to Neymar…
At a press conference this Friday, Christophe Galtier indicated that, unlike most elements absent from the score sheet for the match against Strasbourg due to injuries or suspensions, Neymar will not travel to Alsace to take part in the 1-1 draw of his teammates, which officially crowned PSG for the champion of France.
The French coach before the press gave the reason to justify the absence of the Brazilian: “Neymar has mobility problems but was present in the dressing room during the last session. Don’t jump to conclusions”. Not wanting to stir up unnecessary controversy, Christophe Galtier stood up for his attacking midfielder.
… who goes to Monaco!
But for his part, Neymar thwarted his coach’s efforts by arriving in Monaco, 800km from Paris, the day after a match in Strasbourg. Indeed, a Brazilian, shot by cameras Channel+went to the Principality to take part in the Formula 1 Grand Prix. In a short sequence posted on social networks, we see the former Barcelona racer walking normally without discomfort or a slight limp.

This should lead to a new controversy as Neymar prefers to attend the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco rather than a meeting with his own club. The divorce, at any rate, seems to be consummated between the two entities.
