NBA Reactions: Convention Finals, Lakers Subsequent Steps, Reminiscing about Carmelo’s Profession

The folks at SBN Reacts asked some interesting questions a few days ago (before Celts 2 ECF victories).

To which I say: Challenge accepted!

Again, this poll is from before the Celtics’ last two wins. Also this word “beating” does a lot of work, considering that the work has been and is not yet done. All things considered, I think it was more surprising (so far) that the Heat beat the Celtics than the Nuggets beat Lakers. Jokic is a beast.

I don’t really believe LeBron James will retire, so I have to agree that they will continue to build their squad around James and Davis. A year ago I would have thought it was comical because they weren’t making a great job of it. However, they made some solid moves last year and seem to have figured something out. That said, they face tough free agent decisions.

Personally, I think of Carmelo Anthony associated with Syracuse, but I guess I’m old-fashioned in that regard. I guess we’ll always have “Olympics Melo”.
