Mexican media sees Perez’s title probabilities slipping away: "The dream seems gloomy"

Sergio Pérez headed to the Monaco Grand Prix hoping to win the prestigious race through the streets of Monte Carlo again and close the gap to fellow Red Bull Racing champion Max Verstappen. Although Verstappen was better all weekend, Perez probably minimized the damage. However, a mistake in Q1 saw him crash into the Sainte Devote corner barriers, ending his qualifying prematurely. Nobody thought that the situation of the Mexican could get worse.
