The first event held by Most Valuable Promotions in partnership with BoxLab Promotions at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida was a complete success with Cuban Kevin Hayler Brown winning the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Americas super lightweight title after defeating Julian Smith via unanimous decision.
Brown, a very talented player who has struggled with several injuries in his career, is now at full strength since turning pro. The scorecards in his favor are 98-92, 96-94 and 96-94 for a great win that helps him grow and make a name for himself among the elite.
Many young talented boxers performed that night, such as Ashton Sylve, who defeated Adam Kipenga by unanimous decision in an eight-round bout. The American looked quick and with great combinations to take his ninth career win, winning eight of them by knockout.
On the other hand, 18-year-old Lorenzo Medina defeated Angel Napoles in the heavyweight division, and Bryce Harper in the middleweight division also defeated Jamar Pamberton by decision in a four-round fight.
The event was attended by WBA Featherweight Champion Amanda Serrano and renowned fighter Jake Paul, as well as special guests such as Edgar Berlanga and rapper Fat Joe.
