Finding the basics of golf swing using technology
Learn about the technology we can use to help you become a better golfer…
Trackman4 golf tutorial
Brad uses Trackman4 technology which is used by most PGA Tour players to track their progress on any swing changes they are trying to make.
TrackMan4 is the latest and most advanced swing analysis technology available.
It uses racket technology to track the full trajectory of your shots, from short hits to your longest hit.
The Trackman4 unit has two radars that will give us more than 30 data points about where the impact was made, as well as how the golf club was moving during the swing.
The device will also map the 3D trajectory of each shot in real time, complete with all impact and firing information.
Putting all this data together is invaluable as it helps us identify any weaknesses in your swing and improve them and recommend the best golf swing tips.
How Trackman4 will help you…
1. Please tell us the baseline
We may collect information through cameras and software about what you actually do, not what we “think” you do as a starting point.
2. Track your progress
Now that we have your baseline, we can record the changes we make to make sure you’re on track to golf more solidly and score lower.
If you’re looking for golf swing analysis to help you become a better golfer, look no further than Brad Myers, PGA.
With regular practice, you’ll start seeing lower scores in no time. (More on that later)
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)
When it comes to golf fitness, the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is a leader in research into how the human body can best swing a golf club.
The best part is that they did not limit their research to the best players in the world, they also collected a huge amount of data on the vast majority of player types, medium and higher handicap players.
Golfers differ in many ways, including flexibility, strength, build, and how they swing the golf club.
TPI collects the player’s data from the TPI’s physical body screen and then creates a blueprint with what the golfer’s body can do. So building an efficient body swing connection is based on these factors.
How can TPI help my game?
The TPI Golf training program is all about building a stronger, more efficient golf swing, which is one of the main goals of golfers strength training.
A customized TPI program will help increase flexibility and strengthen the muscles that influence swing mechanics and power generation on the golf course.
TPI body screen
If you want to take your golf game to the next level, the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) body guard is the place to start.
During the screen you will be asked to make 13-16 different moves.
If at any point you feel discomfort or pain, it’s time to stop that move and move on to the next move.
You should not feel any pain during the screening test. The TPI body screen it will take about 30-45 minutes.
The screening process tests your flexibility, strength and swing characteristics.
This information is then used to create a training program that is tailored to you and how to improve your body rocking connection.
Personalized TPI golf training
After completing the TPI Body Screen, Brad will send you personalized workouts that will be created to improve your golf swing movement via the free myTPI app.
Since we’re all busy, you’ll have access to 15-minute workouts as well as 30-minute workouts that you don’t need to be at the gym to complete. Plus, you’ll get access to exercise videos to follow.
TPI training is designed for athletes who want to build a better “swing” and improve the “body-swing” connection.
Explosive golf sensor and famous golf swings
Simply put… Players of all levels can benefit from the Blast golf sensor.
How will the Blast golf sensor help my game?
The sensor provides real-time feedback on your golf swing pace, which can help you improve your ball hitting and impact.
The sensor makes it easy to see where you stand next to other famous golf swings, identify where you need to improve your pace, and track your progress over time.
Brad mainly uses Blast Golf during you are working on your putt or your short game. However, the sensor can also improve your full swing pace.
For example… the gust sensor will tell us the time it takes you to pull the stick back in the backstroke, as well as the time it takes the stick to move back forward while driving and/or chipping.
It is important that these two numbers correspond to a 2:1 ratio.
This will allow you to control the distance of your putts and the chip strokes you hit for lower scores.

Other ways to get lower scores
While golf swing analysis can certainly help improve your game, it’s not the only thing you need to do to get lower scores.
There are a few common challenges people face after analyzing their golf swing while trying to achieve this goal:
1. Not knowing your weaknesses
Many people don’t know what they need to work on to create a good golf swing. Without this information, it is difficult to make real progress.
Using the above technologies, we won’t be guessing what’s really going on, but we’ll know what’s actually going on during your swing.
2. Lack of a good plan
I’ve heard it said that… “It’s good to have a plan, but… It’s better to have a good plan.”
Using the technologies mentioned above and Brad’s experience, you will be able to create a good improvement plan to improve your overall game.
3. No time to practice
We all live in a busy world and I don’t have the time I used to have to work on my game.
This is where we need to be realistic and set appropriate expectations when trying to change motor skills. You don’t just start playing a musical instrument… it takes time.
If you clearly don’t have the time to practice, perhaps now is not the best time to switch as it will only lead to more frustration.
4. Physically unable to reach position
I often hear about what golfers “used to be able to do”. As we age, our body changes, and what we strive for when we watch famous golf swings on TV is no longer realistic. One way to improve our mobility and stability is to get closer to and maybe even reach these positions to improve your golf swing.
summary
After reading this blog post, it is clear that you will need to do more than that golf swing analysis with Brad Myers, PGA to improve your game.
After conducting a baseline assessment with Trackman and TPI, and watching how you currently play, Brad will create a personalized improvement plan tailored to you, your golf swing, and your body.
Then it’s your job not just to practice, but to practice wisely to get the most references out of your application.
If you start using golf swing analysis in this way, you will see an improvement that will lead to lower scores!
