One of the most exciting qualifying sessions we can remember, an old Charger going back years, rainy chaos and another win for Max Verstappen – the Monaco Grand Prix had it all.
And when the dust settles after a dramatic weekend in the streets of Monte Carlo, F1 Nation The crew is here to chew through all the highlights and key discussion points from the race in the principality.

They look back on a thrilling qualifying session where Fernando Alonso set the benchmark before Max Verstappen pulled one of the last sectors of all time to snatch pole position from the Spaniard’s grip in the closing moments of Q3.
And, of course, they’ll be picking up the bones from the race itself – the last third of which was conducted in wet conditions, resulting in chaos among the drivers with spins, slides and slides up and down the field, as well as difficult calls for tire strategy.
They also delve into Esteban Ocon’s first podium of the season in Alpine, Ferrari’s struggles, McLaren’s double points – and a tough weekend for Sergio Perez after his qualifying error fell to the back of the pack and saw him leave Monaco pointless, missing out on a key position in favor of Verstappen’s teammate in the fight for the championship.
