Formula 1 visits the city-state of Singapore from September 30 to October 2, 2022, and gamers are likely to spot a familiar design when they look at McLaren driver Lando Norris’ special helmet during the race weekend: the Briton is wearing the Master Chief, so to speak – his protective imitation of the headdress Halo character armor design.
Norris celebrates Halo esports partnership
The reason for the special helmet is the announcement of a partnership between Quadrant, Lando Norris’ esports team, and Halo Championship Series (HCS), the official tournament circuit for Hello Infinity powered by Microsoft and 343 Industries.
Quadrant, together with its quartet of French professional players, is one of the strongest teams in Europe and was recently announced as HCS’ tenth partner.

This is an important step for the organization. Being an official HCS partner comes with several perks and benefits, such as the ability to sell official in-game skins, host tournaments, and various other activation opportunities.
At the recent First Person Shooter Major in Orlando, Florida, the team was eliminated early in the playoffs and thus missed the World Cup qualifiers which took place in late October. With this new partnership, the band’s future looks bright despite this setback.
