(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Brooks Koepka is the winner of the 2023 PGA Championship, winning his fifth championship on Sunday at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. This is his third Wanamaker trophy and first major title since 2019. Koepka has 11 Srixon/Cleveland golf clubs in his bag and plays with a Z-STAR DIAMOND golf ball.
It was a dominant performance from the five-time major champion as he climbed to the top and fended off the pitch on the demanding Oak Hill. After a first-round 2-over par 72, Koepka continued with a second and third round of 66 despite tough conditions. In the final round, he scored a 3-under par 67 card to win the tournament by two strokes. Koepka becomes only the third player in the stroke play era to win three or more PGA championships.
“It’s amazing. Looking back at where we were two years ago, I’m so happy right now that I have no words,” Brooks Koepka said in his last interview. “I don’t have a list of guys who won five times, but being with those grouping names is absolutely amazing, and something I couldn’t dream of as a kid is the coolest thing.”
Koepka finished second in SG: Tee to Green and first overall in SG: Total using most Srixon and Cleveland Golf products. Koepka signed with Srixon/Cleveland Golf in 2021.
