This is obviously not a good sign for de Vries given his poor start to the season. Red Bull has high hopes for AlphaTauri and these consistently poor performance is unacceptable.
Despite Helmut Marko seemingly ruling out a move for Ricciardo to AlphaTauri, the odds are still quite real. The 33-year-old is looking for an immediate return to competition on Sundays, and given which teams are likely to have vacancies for next season, AlphaTauri seems like a good option for him to rejuvenate his career early.
